I have missed you! I think about writing to you often, and then....then the time goes by, and here it is...September!
Jack has been taken off the ventilator and has a canula in his nose. Now that he doesn't have anything down his throat, he has started nursing and taking the bottle. (See second photo above where Jack is receiving his first bottle from the special nurse.) Jeff and Angela think Jack may be home in a few weeks - WITH his oxygen (canula) attached. He is getting big - about 4 1/2 pounds which is a long way from 1 1/2 lbs!
Katie is around 6 pounds, and Chloe is a little less that that.(See them taking a nap in the first photo.) According to Jeff, Katie is really solid and heavy, while Chloe is more slight. Chloe may take after our family, then, as we have lots of petite people from Pennsylvannia Dutch country who are quite slender.
I bought a doll swing, so I arranged 3 little "bears" - (Katie, Chloe and Jack) in front of the swing with a little dollie on the swing.
Today I found 3 small orange pumpkins in the garden, so I had to arrange them for a picture. Notice the names on the pumpkins!
I am going to see the little munchkins soon and can not wait! Jeff told me to bring old clothes that can be spit up on! My, how life has changed!
The Land looks more beautiful than ever. I can hardly believe how lovely it looks. We just finished putting up the first set of lattice around the windows. Only one more set of lattice for the front windows and I'm done with the newly sided cottage!
What fantastic weather we have had lately. I have accomplished so much on the land.
Sadly, today is 9/11. We truly will never forget.
Sleep tight, dear Reader!
