I have long returned from Thanksgiving with Jeff, Angela and kids. We saw Santa, as you can see by the above. I had a great time in Denver with them all!
The new granite countertops were installed before Christmas, but at the last moment a small section of granite cracked and broke. You can't see it in the pictures I have included, because it happened after the pictures were taken. So, the kitchen is not done yet, but I have high hopes that it will be done one of these days...perhaps by my birthday, perhaps by Valentine's Day or even the Ides of March....!
See the picture of the arrowhead I found while picking up rocks on my dear Willow Creek. I love my creek! And what a great surprise to look down and see this little arrowhead looking up at me!
Christmas was spent here at the Land, quiet and serene. I missed the "fam" of course, but they were having a good time with Angela's parents who visited in Denver after I left. Jeff and Angela always have the welcome mat out! I enjoyed the Christmas spirit here at the Land, thought of my entire family with love, and counted my many blessings. It was a truly blessed Christmas.
"Grammie's Place" picture resides on the front porch of the farmhouse in Iowa. It's ready for a visit from Katie, Chloe and Jack!
The rest of the photos are of the kids and Jeff and Angela during my Thanksgiving visit. They are the cutest!
As we let go of 2015 and look forward to 2016, may you have a healthy, happy New Year, dear Reader! All the best!
