| Dear Reader, I have been gone most of the month of June. First a stop in Iowa at the farm, then on to Colorado to see those adorable grand-triplets turn 3, then on to Arizona to see Linda and family. I was able to celebrate Linda's birthday with the whole family and see Lauren and Kelsey, too. It's been quite a month! At the end of the month, I stopped by Iowa again and Dave met me there for some work on the new bathroom. Bruce, my friend from Alaska, stopped by for a night. Virgil, my dear neighbor, came by to remove a large spruce tree. Lots going on in such a short time! I have so many pictures, that I will have to do this in at least 2 installments. So here is installment #1 with an overview of the month. Enjoy, dear Reader, enjoy! You can see there is a lot of healthy competition when Katie and Jack start racing each other. Chloe goes it alone. In the fifth row, Chloe is giving Jack some encouragement on using the potty. The 6th, 7th row is music class - which was a scream. One of the big things now is looking for bugs. Jack loves to look for bugs, and the girls help him. Jeff is sitting on the porch on the weekend, having a beer as the kids look for bugs. What an interesting past time! One day we met Daddy for lunch and had a delightful lunch downtown Denver. The kids were very good! The food was yummy! And oh, yes! The kids received bicycles for their birthdays! Red for Jack, pink for Chloe and of course, blue for Katie. They loved them! The slide was set up for the triplet's birthday party, so I will stop there and next installment I will publish pictures of the party and Father's Day. I wanted to at least add in some from Arizona so here are a few from my visit with Linda and all. The middle picture is all of us at our favorite ice cream shoppe for Linda's birthday. We went there in honor of Mom, too. I posed at poolside and lakeside early one morning. How do you like the hat, dear Reader? Then in Iowa I picked flowers on the farm for the house. The bright colored clematis vines are on the north side of the house not far from where Virgil is removing the big spruce. Wheeler Ridge is the ridge where I live although its name has been changed. This picture is several miles from the farm. Bruce and Dave pose for a picture (my house seems to be a revolving door which I love!), and finally home to The Land and all is quiet once again. (well, almost!) What a wonderful month! I wouldn't have missed it for the world! |
