My! oh, my! My life is really fantastic! I just returned from Denver where I saw Katie, Chloe, Jack, Angela and Jeff for a whole week. It always goes so fast, but the kids are at such a cute age I wouldn't miss it for the world. They call me "Grammie" or "Gammie" - and I love it! They imitate me, they want to be read to (I must have read Jack's favorite book "Jump Frog Jump" twenty times), they love playing in the pool (see above), running around the kitchen, and just plain being silly. So cute!
As you can see from the pictures, the kids played in the pool a LOT. They also played with their water table, and are just being introduced to the "potty." We visited a model home - just for the fun of it, and saw all kinds of fish and sharks at the Denver Aquarium. Daddy played Ring A Round The Rosie with the girls, and Jack still loves to go down the slide in the back yard. He also likes to dunk his head in the water table which Grammie finds very funny. (See photos below.) Mommy had her hands full with the kids as they played in the pool! We all had lots of fun!
I'm sure it's quite obvious to you the only time during the day the triplets are quiet is just before bed when they are drinking milk out of their sippy cups!
I returned home to (now) lovely weather, and am starting to get ideas together to build that house on the hill! Plus, I continue to work on turning the entire land into a permaculture farm. Everything is happening at once. I am so fortunate. And busy!
Oh, and as you can see, Gordon and Gordeeta and family are on their way south, and stopped by for a visit. They have been very well behaved. I don't expect them to stay too long, but it is great having them back.
We had a storm before I left for Denver which brought down a branch, just missing the house. It's all cleaned up now and looks better than ever.
Fall is coming for sure. Tonight it will be in the 40's - and there is no denying "the gates of winter are closing." Enjoy this beautiful weather, dear Reader!
