It's warm inside my little cottage! And warm inside my heart. Why? Because it's done! D.S. Vanderbilt produced a great video and I'm so excited!
I hope you like it as much as I do! Please remember, dear Reader, I am a novice at putting together videos. My voice sounds unprofessional, but I think you'll like the way it goes together...and what I'm trying to accomplish out here. If only I knew how to put a link on this page so you could see it right now. It's on YouTube, under D.S. Vanderbilt's name, but I'm not sure how to tell you to see it. Eventually, Jeff Wolfe will get it on my home page, and all will be right with the world. I'm so glad it's done. Perhaps the earthquake helped it all to come together!
A reader wrote in with a comment on the major fault lines running to Oregon and Bryon. I can understnd his worries about his father living so close to Byron Nuclear Power Plant. It is mind boggling that supposed learned men - experts in their fields - would choose a location for a nuclear power plant that has major fault lines - even close to it! What do we do? Turn off our lights to protest? And isn't it a bit late? No wonder the government distributes special tablets (for thyroid in case of radiation exposure) to all the residents in the area. They know more than they told us...
For what it's worth, I sent my concerns to the Dixon Telegraph newspaper and they called to say they would be putting it in. So look for it today or tomorrow.
I understand, too, the loss of grandparents and their knowledge of the place, and the good times shared with them. You can never replace those wonderful parts of your family who have passed on. They leave behind such beautiful memories.
I have lots more to say, but with visitiors coming, I best get ready for the day!
Enjoy the snow - again!
