The farm is getting a brand new enclosed porch. It is going on now, in fact! I think it's going to be beautiful when finished! But right now it's a mess, especially with the trenched underground wire that Kelly McCarty has started putting in (and the rains that keep that clay soil really yucky!).
I had lunch with my dear friend, Stig. It's been two or more years since we've seen each other! It was great to see him again.
In July, Jeff and Angela took their vacation to Mexico and Nana and Papa stayed with the kids. (That's a selfie with Jeff and Angela on the plane to Mexico.) Nana and Papa took the kids to the museum, zoo and Target. The kids played hard, wore hats, rode their Striders, and explored the flowers out in front of their house. When Mommy and Daddy returned, the kids gave them big hugs! The very next day it was Daddy's birthday, so the kids sent Daddy a "Happy Birthday, Daddy" picture to his office. Then there was a big celebration at home. Lately, Angela has been giving them stars when they listen well, pick up their toys, go to the potty, etc. They seem to really like their stars for listening well! They are the cutest kids in the world! I know I am prejudice but hey! they are!
I just talked with Angela today (August 23rd) and it's already time for Jack to start school! He has his first day of school on Monday! She will send pictures on Monday recording the big event!
Yesterday she woke up and the girls were already downstairs playing together in the basement. Angela said, "It's official. The kids aren't babies any more!" Ohhh, they are growing up SO fast!
Enjoy the heat, dear Reader! We're finally having summer!
