Yesterday was the first full day of Spring! It's official! Though it is getting colder for a while, we know it won't last much longer!
Last week, Chris and Smitty were out for their last day of ice fishing...and had to leave earlier than planned as the ice was melting right under them. This great picture of Chris is their last catch of the 2014-2015 ice fishing season! (Smitty took the photo.) Great Catch!
The week before I was invited out to Denver to visit the Heim family - and what a treat it was! If I hadn't had so much to do at home, I would have stayed longer than 5 days! Here are some cute pictures of the triplets. Can you believe how big they are getting? Their Mommy and Daddy had some well-deserved time away over the weekend, which meant Grammie had the triples by herself for the first time. Angela was sure to have their babysitter come over for 2 hours on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday to give me a break. I appreciated this, of course, but the kids were great! We had a lot of fun! There are pictures of them eating ice cream (Grammie is such a bad influence!), playing Ashes Ashes We All Fall Down with Daddy and by themselves, Playing at the park, looking for ants, making special Welcome Home! signs for Mommy and Daddy, and being with Grammie. Such great memories!
Dear Reader, notice the early morning fog on the pond in March when guess who returned? Gordon and Gordeeta, of course! It is so good to have them back!
Happy Spring, Everyone! It's going to be a great season!
