I returned home from Denver where I spent Thanksgiving to find a rather stark landscape - but now its snowing! What a beautiful snow! Already at least 2 inches and more quickly falling!
Had a wonderful time in Denver, so of course, I have to share more pictures! Jeff's high school buddies from Lake Oswego, Oregon visited Denver with their wives. I babysat a lot, so that the 3 couples could have a good time together. They went to Vail for the day and did some sightseeing in Denver, too. It was great to see Aaron (and wife, Sara); and Marc, (and wife Shelly). I used to see these two young men (and Jeff) at our home in L.O. all the time! They are best buds! You'll see the pictures below where all three of them are together with Jack. A good time was had by all!
Katie, Chloe and Jack are really growing up. Katie loves her Thomas the train hat (and even goes to bed with it!) and Chloe is as independent as ever, (playing on the stairs when the other two siblings are playing in the rec room...and sitting on the big dining chair where Mommy and Daddy sit), and Jack - as you can see by the pictures - loves to be read to. One of his favorite books is "Jump Frog Jump." They love the park, they love playing in the snow, Katie and Chloe love being little cheerleaders for Oregon State (go Beavers!); they love everything! I was so fortunate to spend time with them.
(The last two rows of photos above were taken by Aaron at Jeff's house and also at Vail. In addition, Aaron took the really neat photo of Jack out in the snow in the second row, too. Aaron is a great photographer!)
My sister Linda came to visit for a few days and finally saw the triplets in person! It was so good to see Lin! As soon as I picked her up at the airport we were laughing hysterically. There is no one more special than a sister. We are so fortunate to have each other. There have been very, very few times in all our 60+ years when Linda and I have exchanged a cross word. Now that I think back on it, I realize just how wonderful and fortunate that was - and is. She is my dearest, best friend. Just wish we lived closer to each other.
Enjoy this beautiful, pure snow, dear Reader. And I will try to be a little more faithful in blogging so you can be part of my world. I appreciate you, too, dear Reader!
